BP_1 Google Reader

*Education Week America.
This is a wonderful update of top, current issues      happening in education.
It is a reliable source of news, information and reports on up to date topics in    the world of academia.

    *MTV  Music Must See Video
This is a fascinating site that provides the latest music videos and news on new artists.  I will be using this to enhance presentations in class.  I find that using music is very effective for motivating students.  I will also use this to find music and get inspiration for my videos for my ARP.

 *Nature Multimedia-Google Earth
This site is a great interactive tool that links the imagery of Google Earth to articles, research and curriculums.  I plan on using this in my classroom to allow students to connect current science curriculum with the world they live in.  My Action Research is going to be focused on social studies and science class, this site will get some good use.

*Portland Press Herald.
             http://www.pressherald.com/
This is my local newspaper’s site.  This is an important site for current events which I have students all do research on, every week.  Students will use this site to discover what is going on in the news.

 *TED blog.
             http://blog.ted.com/
This is an informative and exciting site with videos of  speakers about technology, entertainment and design.  I will be using this site to show videos to my students to enlighten and inspire.

Hope you find these as informative as I haveJ  Look forward to having you “keep up”J
